Brought home my new bike today! I officially have a stable of bikes (unless I need 3 to make a stable…). This is my new Specialized Tricross Elite. My workhorse. My go-wherever-I-want bike. My commuter. My soon-to-be muddy friend. Weather forecast for this weekend is 50F and sunny. I’ll be out on the dirt trails making new adventures!
No training today. Just good beer and a homemade supper.

Yup! After having ridden a friend’s bike that didn’t fit me I can really appreciate the professional fitting (much different than a bike store checking the seat height and adjusting the handle bars). I purchased a fitting for my road bike last summer. Even though that bike was the right size for me the difference is night and day. I’ll be riding 150 miles on that bike over two days this June. I think most adults get scared off riding bikes because they rode a poor fitting bike.
